A project dedicated to the exchange of voices through language and poetry.
A collaboration through poetry
Translingual Voices is a collaborative project that brings together students from Gaza and Nijmegen. Together they write translingual poetry — a storytelling bridge between human beings, where a single poem may weave through Arabic, Dutch, English, Spanish, Chinese, or any other language its makers carry.

What is translingual poetry?
A poem may begin in one language and end in another. Here, code-mixing is the rule rather than the exception.
Moving between languages lets participants express ideas and feelings that may not fit comfortably inside a single, monolingual frame.
